Our programs are designed to bring people together in meaningful and accessible ways through donation-based workshops, study groups, wellness circles, community adventures, and creative learning experiences. 

Group Tai Chi Class

Movement & Wellness

Movement & Wellness focuses on grounding the mind and body through mindful movement and stress-reduction practices.

These gatherings are designed to help participants reconnect with themselves through breath, posture, awareness, and intentional movement.

Programs may include:

Tai Chi

Breathwork

Guided mindfulness

Stretching and grounding practices

Community wellness circles

Skill Share & Homestead Hub

Skill Share & Homestead Hub is our practical learning and community resilience program. 

We believe sharing everyday knowledge strengthens communities and empowers individuals to become more confident, resourceful, and connected.

This program focuses on practical life skills, self-sufficiency education, and intergenerational learning.

Topics may include:

Gardening and urban homesteading

Basic tool and home repair skills

Sewing and mending

Cooking and food preservation

Herbal education

Emergency preparedness basics

DIY workshops and craft cirles

Community trade and skill-sharing events

Thought School

Thought School is our creative and cultural learning hub focused on expression, curiosity, and connection.

We believe pop culture, storytelling, art and shared interests can become tools for community building and meaningful conversation.

Programs may include:

Anime and Pop Culture Discussions

Creative writing

Art and Storytelling workshops

Philosophy and media discussions

Community study groups

Technology and creative innovation meetups

The Pattern Path

Pattern Path is a community-centered program created through the Lola Zen Project Inc that uses guided reflection, storytelling, journaling and creative discussion to help individuals and families strengthen communication, emotional awareness, and social connection

Through guided conversations and creative reflections, participants explore personal growth, emotional resilience, and pattern recognition in everyday life.

Activities may include:

Journaling circles

Reflection workshops

Personality exploration

Group conversation and shared learning

Community organizations

Schools & after-school programs

Youth and family programs

Libraries and cultural centers

Reentry and community support organizations

Facilitators, artists, and educators

The Pattern Path is a non-clinical, community enrichment program intended to support personal growth, social connection and reflective learning in accessible group environments. We believe learning happens best when people feel connected, supported, and engaged.

Community Adventures

Community Adventures encourages exploration, cultural connection, and shared experiences outside traditional classroom settings.

We organize donation-based outings and community meetups that help people build friendships and experience learning together in real-world environments.

Museum visits

Nature walks

Comic conventions

Tea gatherings

Cultural events

Local exploration trips

🌿 What It Means to Facilitate with Lola Zen Project

Facilitators co-create workshops, retreats, and lead field trips that blend arts and wellness, such as:

  • Movement and mindfulness (Martial Arts, yoga, breathwork)

  • Creative expression (art, writing, music)

  • Gardening and homesteading

  • Technology and innovation

  • Anime and pop culture

  • Journaling and storytelling

  • Skill-sharing workshops

  • Community education

All offerings are donation-based or sliding scale, ensuring accessibility for every participant. ​

You do not need to be a licensed therapist or professional educator to contribute. We value lived experience, kindness, creativity, collaboration and a desire to help strengthen community connections.
