Shared Skills & Resources

Skill Share & Homestead Hub is a community-centered learning program focused on practical life skills, self-sufficiency, creativity, and community resilience.

We believe everyday knowledge is worth sharing. By creating spaces where people can learn from one another, participants can build confidence, discover useful skills, share their own experience, and strengthen connections across generations and backgrounds.

Programs may include gardening and urban homesteading, basic tools and home repair, sewing and mending, cooking and food preservation, herbal education, emergency preparedness, DIY workshops, craft circles, and community skill-sharing events.

We welcome collaboration with community organizations, schools and youth programs, libraries and cultural centers, reentry and community support programs, and individuals who have a skill, craft, trade, or practical knowledge they would like to share.
