The Lola Zen Project Inc - About Us
The Lola Zen Project Inc. is a community-rooted, nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting multigenerational well-being through movement, mindfulness, cultural arts, and shared educational experiences. Our mission is to create spaces where families, individuals, and communities can learn, and grow together through accessible donation-based workshops, and empowering cultural practices.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Orlando Prevot and Liz Prevot, the Lola Zen Project brings together two lifelong paths of wisdom:
Orlando, event host, martial artist and instructor, leads movement-based healing through traditional martial arts, body awareness practices, and community demonstrations.

Liz | Death Doula Education Facilitator
Liz is a death doula and facilitator of heirloom death legacy binder workshops, a community-based approach to death education that uses guided imagery, archetypal storytelling, reflection, and legacy work to make conversations about mortality more approachable.
Liz invites participants to explore life through the lens of mortality—examining identity, relationships, grief, change, personal values, ancestral connection, and what we leave behind. Using the planets as symbolic Sky Elders and tarot as a visual reflection tool, she creates guided experiences that encourage deeper conversations without using tarot to predict death or provide clinical guidance.
Her work centers on a simple idea: death education is also life education. By learning to talk about mortality before a crisis, we can better understand what matters to us, communicate our wishes, preserve our stories, and intentionally create a legacy for those who come after us.
